These terms govern your use of the Nurovo platform operated by Nurovo Ltd ("Nurovo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using nurovo.co.uk you agree to these terms.
1. The platform
Nurovo provides an online directory connecting UK care workers with care providers. Nurovo is not an employment agency, employment business or recruitment business. We do not employ care workers, do not place them into roles, and are not a party to any engagement between a care worker and a provider.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Care worker profile accuracy
Care workers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of the information and documents they submit, including DBS certificates, right to work documents and training certificates. You confirm that any document you upload is genuine, current and lawfully yours to share. Misleading or falsified information may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4. Provider subscriptions
Provider accounts may purchase a subscription to access search and contact features. Subscription pricing is shown on the pricing page and may change with reasonable notice. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
5. Payment and cancellation
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges for the chosen billing period. You can cancel at any time through your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no pro-rata refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by law. Launch promotional pricing is honoured for as long as the subscription remains continuously active.
6. Document verification disclaimer
Nurovo facilitates the upload and review of verification documents but is not a regulated compliance authority. The "verified" status displayed against a document indicates that a Nurovo reviewer has examined the document submitted by the care worker; it is not a substitute for the provider's own statutory and regulatory compliance checks (including but not limited to CQC requirements, safer recruitment, DBS update service checks and right to work verification). Providers remain responsible for satisfying all applicable employment, safeguarding and regulatory obligations before engaging any care worker.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not misrepresent yourself, your organisation or your qualifications.
- Do not scrape, harvest or bulk export profile data.
- Do not contact users for any purpose other than legitimate care work opportunities.
- Do not upload unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory content.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, misuse the platform, or pose a risk to other users. You may close your account at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nurovo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunities arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Nurovo in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
